Public pages and cookies

The public iNFOBOD pages do not use advertising or profiling cookies, external analytics, localStorage or sessionStorage.

Area map and OpenStreetMap

The area map uses OpenStreetMap basemap tiles. When the map is displayed, the browser loads tiles from OpenStreetMap Foundation servers and transmits ordinary HTTP request data. iNFOBOD does not use the device GPS location.

QR and Web counters

iNFOBOD keeps its own approximate counts of QR-link openings and public page openings (Web), without cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage or third-party analytics. The Web counter requires JavaScript; these counts are not unique people or a record of every visit.

Repeated openings of the same page from the same network and browser combination during a day are limited. The counter does not store the full IP address, full User-Agent, search terms or referring page. A shortened network address and browser information produce a temporary HMAC fingerprint; no visitor profile is created.

Helper fingerprints are retained for 48 hours and aggregate daily counts for 365 days by default; these periods can be changed in configuration. Ongoing maintenance removes them after the retention period. Place recommendations continue to use the existing aggregate QR counts.

Administration and hosting

The protected administration uses the essential __Host-infobod_session session cookie. The session ends after 20 minutes of inactivity.

The website is hosted by Websupport. The exact retention period for technical server logs must be checked in the Websupport account; the application does not set it.
